A tea party hosted by the Mad Hatter with special guest Alice in Wonderland is set to charm children on Sunday, April 7, at 2:00 pm at WOW’s Creative Arts Center, 105 Elm Street in downtown Westfield.
Produced by Westfield on Weekends in collaboration with the Something Royal Party Company, this will be the Spring event of Cupcakes, Cookies and Community, WOW’s innovative series for children, aged 3 to 8 and their parents and guardians.
The spring edition of the popular series has been designed to appeal to both boys and girls with the loony antics of the Mad Hatter, complementing the proper English fun of Alice on her wild adventure in Wonderland.
The party will feature music, storytelling, games, cupcakes, cookies and a special craft-making session with a special hurried visit from a White Rabbit, whose pocket watch has made him very late.
Advance reservations for the parties are required and may be made through the WOW website at www.westfieldonweekends.com or by calling WOW at 413-579-5967. Tickets are $20 (1 Parent and 1 child) with $5 for each additional child.
Cupcakes, Cookies and Community is partially funded with a grant from the Westfield Cultural Council, a local program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
