The International Volleyball Hall of Fame’s Morgan Classic NCAA Collegiate Men’s Volleyball tournament is the premier annual four-team men’s collegiate tournament on the East Coast featuring some of the top NCAA teams in the country.
Springfield College will once again serve as host for the Annual International Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic, which will take place in Blake Arena.
The top teams in NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball will visit Western Massachusetts for the annual International Volleyball Hall of Fame Morgan Classic, to be held Feb. 2-3 at Springfield College. The event is named in honor of William G. Morgan, the inventor of the game of volleyball at the Holyoke YMCA in 1895, and the first public exhibition of the sport, which was held at Judd Gymnasia on what is now the campus of Springfield College.

The International Volleyball Hall of Fame honors this pivotal occasion in the sports history with the Morgan Classic. This annual event kicks off with a tournament of the top collegiate talent on Friday night.
The Classic weekend activities culminate at the tournament championship match Saturday night, where the winners from the Friday night matches battle it out for the annual Morgan Classic Championship title.
