On Saturday, May 4, 2024, the Amherst Railway Society will once again team up with Springfield Union Station to sponsor the – Celebration of Railroad Art and Photography.
Railroads have long been the subject of art and photography. So, we are going to set aside a day to honor the talented people that paint and photograph railroads in America, and around the globe!
Railroad-themed art and photography will be on display in the main concourse of Springfield Union Station from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and much of that work will be for sale.
The event is free and Union Station garage parking will be a flat $2, courtesy of the Springfield Redevelopment Authority.
