The Springfield Garden Club “Annual Plant Sale” at The Quadrangle, Springfield Museums
A spring tradition and our major fundraiser for our scholarship fund, the Plant Sale offers a wide selection of perennials, annuals, trees, and shrubs from members’ gardens, and garden centers, plus a vintage garden boutique and sale of prime plants.
With many experienced gardeners and Master Gardeners in the garden club, they offer useful suggestions on which plants to buy or answer gardening questions.
The annual plant sale is a major fund raiser for the club’s scholarship program.
The Springfield Garden Club awards an annual scholarship to a graduating high school senior, undergraduate or graduate college student majoring in a full-time plant science or environmental studies program such as horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, land management or other allied fields.
Using proceeds from past plant sales, the club has given more than $70,000 in scholarships to students in the last 30 years.
