The Hot Chocolate Run is a community celebration of Safe Passage, the Hampshire County organization addressing domestic violence. Run or walk to support Safe Passage, and enjoy a mug of homemade hot chocolate at the finish line!
Participants join us year after year to spend time with family and friends, run a challenging 5K course with serious competitors, enjoy hot chocolate, and most importantly, to support Safe Passage and our important programs for survivors of domestic violence.
The Hot Chocolate Run gets its name from the prize each finisher receives — a mug unique to that year’s race decorated with a winter scene, and hot chocolate to fill it with.
The event will proceed in rain, snow or sun. On Sunday, it will kick off at 9 a.m. with the three-kilometer walk. The 5K fun run begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the 5K road race at 10:15 a.m.
