The Irish Cultural Center of Western New England, along with the Black Rose Academy of Irish Dance and Cassin Academy of Irish Dance, presents the ICC’s annual Lúnasa Feis on Sunday, August 25.

Registration is now open. This year’s Irish dance competition will take place in the Young Building on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA.
The feis stages will start at 9 am and run approximately until 4 pm. Bakers can enter a Soda Bread Competition at the feis. Free admission – guests are welcome to come view the event. Enter at Gate 9 – parking is $5.

The Irish word Lúnasa (LOO-nuh-suh) is traditionally used to describe an ancient Irish festival celebrating the beginning of the harvest season and the end of the summer months.
