SPECIAL EXHIBITION
The Earth as Art satellite image gallery will showcase striking and informative images captured by civilian satellites that observe our planet. These satellite images expand our understanding of the environment and provide digital representations of the Earth that contribute to the growth of modern economies and societies.
Satellite images provide vital documentation of the changes happening on our planet as we meet the demands of a growing population. Understanding our impact on the Earth is critical to our planet’s and society’s health. The gallery will exhibit magnificent patterns, shapes, colors, and textures of the land, oceans, ice and atmosphere and portray the struggles of forced migration triggered by autocracy, ethnic tension, and resource scarcity.
On display for a limited time only and included with the purchase of General Admission or a Connecticut Science Center Membership. April 15 – 28
