Join us for a brief meeting, followed by a presentation by our own Polly Anderson on the History of the Buckland Schools. Polly will enlighten you as to how Buckland answered the educational needs of its population, starting with the first school house in 1793. Mary Lyon definitely played a part as she began her teaching career in Buckland. Find out how many school houses it took to serve all of Buckland’s young population.
The Program is followed by a Pie Social at which time the audience can visit inside the Hall or walk out on the grounds if weather permits.
