Don’t miss the 165th annual Belchertown Fair. There are plenty of family-friendly activities on tap for the weekend (most of which are free), and the midway never disappoints. Come for the rides (and fried dough), but stay for the inspiring celebration of this incredible farming community.
We are a community fair that celebrates our agricultural roots as well as our active growing community. We offer a wide variety of family friendly activity through out the weekend . We are proud to be able to continue to say most activities are free. Everyone loves a Parade and the Belchertown Fair is no exception. The annual “Fair Day Parade” is held on Fair Saturday starting at 10 AM sharp. A pre-parade concert on the lawn of the Clapp Memorial Library by the award winning BHS Marching Band kicks off the festivities.
The parade route starts from the staging area on South Main St and runs North along the Common on Main St and then to the corner of Rte 9 and 202. You are cordially invited to participate either, as a parade participant or as one of the thousands who line the parade route ready to clap and cheer for their groups, causes, friends and neighbors.
The Fair is coordinated by a town appointed group of volunteers who work with community volunteers, town departments and sponsors to make this the biggest community event of each year.
