In his youth Giuseppe Vajra considered a career as a Doctor. His father told him, “Giuseppe, if you want to save lives, go be a doctor. We don’t save lives. You don’t need art or poetry or a glass of wine in order to stay alive. But what’s the point of life without those things?” Giuseppe joined his father at the winery shortly after. We have been devoted followers of Vajra for many years, selling a range of their wines across our Piedmont selection.
