Since 1959, Brimfield, Massachusetts has been the Antique and Collectibles Capital of the United States. Today, there are 21 independent shows and thousands of dealers. As the premiere hot spot for antiquing and collecting in America, Brimfield attracts people from around the world. Rare and unusual items can be found as buyers search through history’s great marketplace. There is excitement among shoppers getting caught up in the spirit of antiquing and the thrill of the hunt. All shows offer a diversified range of antiques and collectibles. Dealers are knowledgeable about their specialties and eager to share their expertise. Brimfield is a veritable adventure in history. Expect to see things rarely seen anywhere else in the world.
Brimfield is considered the largest outdoor antique show in the country. Up to 5,000 dealers and over 100,000 visitors throughout the week. The crowds can be large, but not uncomfortably so – remember, the Show takes place over almost 1/3 mile of Rt 20, easily going back 500′ on each side of the road. There’s plenty of space to accommodate everyone, with room to spare.
The Brimfield shows operate three times a year during May, July and September and is open for a six day period beginning on a Tuesday and ending on a Sunday, Dawn to dusk, rain or shine! Some operators open all days while others choose to open for just a few days during this period. Food is available for sale in every field. The larger fields will have parking available and can charge between $5 and $10 depending on the day and location.
Some of the shows charge admission. The fees are typically $5.00. You can purchase admission tickets at some of the fields on the days and morning prior to their opening.
There is no central point of contact for the show as it is operated by promoters that lease booth space to dealers from all over the world.

The Town of Brimfield is centrally located between Exits 8 and 9 of the Massachusetts Turnpike, Interstate Route 90. Geographically, Brimfield is equidistant from Boston, Hartford, Springfield, (give or take 1+ hours from each), and approximately 45 minutes from the city of Worcester.
