Face Painting, 10 am-2 pm
Forgot your costume or need something extra to celebrate in style? Let Professor Knows A Lot transform you with a few colorful flourishes! Line closes at 1:30 pm. Quadrangle Green (Rain location: Habitat Hall, First Floor, Springfield Science Museum)
Make a Trick-or-Treat Bag, 10 am-2 pm
Before you track down the treats, swing by to decorate your own trick-or-treat bag! While supplies last. Science Workshop, Second Floor, Springfield Science Museum
Giant Bubbles, 11-2 pm
Chase giant bubbles on the Quadrangle with Mr. Chris. Quadrangle Green (weather permitting)
Trick-or-Treat, 11 am-3 pm
Search the galleries for your favorite sweets. While supplies last, 10 stations, 2 pieces of candy per person per station. All Museums
Ghost Finger Puppets, 12-4 pm
Make a ghoulish friend. Discovery Center, Second Floor, GWV Smith Art Museum
Costumes worn to the Museums during themed programs and events must follow the guidelines below. Visitors who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from the Museums, unless their costume can be modified:
- Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent.
- No props or accessories that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
- No long, sharp, or pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another visitor or collections object.
- No costume elements that reach or drag on the ground.
- No balloons or glitter.
- No masks of any kind; costume headwear may be worn if it does not cover the face.
