Take a colorful journey through the printmaking process using a Gelli Plate. Join Mikey Bernet Cutting at the Local Art Gallery on Sunday, October 20 from 1-3pm, to explore printmaking with this modern tool that is flexible and yet sturdy enough to create layers of textured color. Gel printing is an affordable way to create monoprints without having to go to a printmaking shop or purchasing an expensive press, giving you the ability to create prints at your kitchen table!
Materials included AND participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves as well as soft tools/materials like bubble wrap, plastic flowers, stencils, buttons, etc. Participants may keep the provided Brayer and 5×5 plate. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained!
