Achieving that seemingly effortless flow may not be as hard as you think. This full day clinic will focus on how to carry speed down blue flow and mild tech trails by riding smoothly, choosing good lines and maintaining (even generating) speed through the corners. We will practice riding flat, rocky and bermed corners with techniques to generate traction and speed while staying composed through it all. Typical group sizes range from three to six participants. Are you new to jumping and want to gain confidence in the air? Do you regularly hit jumps and drops but want a fresh set of eyes to look at your form? This clinic will take your air awareness to the next level. Come learn proper drop and jumping technique that will carry through to the rest of your riding career. Typical group sizes range from three to six participants. The clinic will be split into intermediate and advanced groups based on ability and your survey answers. Includes lunch, a beverage, & Thunder swag!
Thunder Mountain Bike Park is one of the best parks on the East Coast and is always being updated with new trails and additions. We also have lessons if you want our trained guides and instructors to assist you no matter the age and ability.
Thunder Mountain Bike Park is a downhill mountain bike park. Riders take the lift up and ride down purpose-built trails that range from introductory green trails to Pro-Line jump trails. This style of riding is best suited for very specific bicycles and gear. If you don’t own DH MTB gear, we offer a full selection of rental bikes and gear in our rental shop + retail shop in the main lodge.
