Flow Fest at Zoar Outdoor and Thunder Mountain

We’re inviting all paddlers to sign up in advance for our Fife Brook and Dryway Challenge Courses on Saturday, May 25th. Navigate the currents, show off your skills, and you could win some amazing prizes! All participants will also be entered into our giveaway prize draw – so everyone has a chance to win something spectacular.

WHITEWATER PADDLING:

1. Free Demo Boats: 9:30am-4pm at the Dunbar Brook Picnic Area. We will have free demos of the hottest whitewater boats/equipment on the market available for both Fife Brook & Dryway paddlers.

2. Free Shuttles: Dryway shuttles run 9:30am-3:30pm and will leave from the Dunbar Brook picnic area and drop paddlers off at the Dryway put in. Fife Brook shuttles run 10:30am-4pm and will leave from the Zoar Gap Picnic parking area and drop paddlers off at the Fife Brook put in. Waiver required, click the link above.

3. Flow Fest Challenge Course: All participants are eligible to win a giveaway prize. Top points scorers for both the Dryway and Fife Brook Challenge Courses will win! Prizes will be distributed at 5pm at Zoar Outdoor.

• Dryway Challenge Course: 10am-12pm Dryway competent paddlers should be able to roll reliably and consistently in Class III rapids & effectively perform eddy turns, peel outs, ferries, and self rescues in Class III+ whitewater.
• Fife Brook Challenge Course: 1:30pm-3:30pm Great for experienced kayakers and open to those who have mastered the wet-exit, can self rescue in current, and are comfortable in at least class I-II whitewater with a sprayskirt and a whitewater style kayak.

4. Used Boat Swap:9am-6pm at the Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop. Sell your boat for a CHECK on the spot or store credit and/or shop for the best deals of the season from Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop.MOUNTAIN BIKING:1. Free Clinics: Sign up in person on a first come first serve basis.

• 10am-12pm Intro to Mountain Biking: Instructors will teach participants the basic fundamentals of downhill mountain biking at our designated skills areas.
• 1pm-3pm Intro to Technical Riding: Learn how to ride Blue and Black technical trails.

2. Scavenger Hunt and Giveaway: We have some awesome Fox gear to giveaway ranging from rain jackets, helmets, a tailgate pad, and so much more! Full details coming soon.

FLOW FEST PARTY:

6pm at Berkshire East with live music with RJ McCarty, food, drinks, and flow!
