The Red Sox will say goodbye to the cold weather and head to their training grounds in Fort Myers, Florida after making their appearance in Springfield. The weekend will be filled with fun festivities, including autograph signings, a kid’s press conference, and breakfast with Wally!
But the jam-packed weekend doesn’t stop there. Springfield College hosts the “2020 Spalding Hoop Hall Classic,” January 16-20th.
To facilitate the huge crowds expected for Red Sox Winter Weekend, Downtown Springfield will shut down streets surrounding Main Street from Boland Way to State Street. A tent will act as a heated walk-through for Winter Weekend ticket holders to walk from MGM Springfield to the MassMutual Center.
It’s going to be crazy-fun but if you are participating in one of these events and need a break from the action, here are some options:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/12″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][mk_padding_divider][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/12″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][mk_image src=”https://difhosting1.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/blog-8-places-jam-packed-palazzo-th.jpg” image_width=”325″ image_height=”208″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_custom_heading text=”Palazzo Café in Downtown Springfield” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%2300b2ba” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.palazzo.cafe%2Fmenu–mangia.html||target:%20_blank|”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1578945992377{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Palazzo Café is located across the street from the MassMutual Center and will be open from 7 am to 5 pm, Friday & Saturday.
